Fraudulent "Message Restriction Portal" Emails

We have been made aware of phishing emails being sent to businesses claiming to be from Web Hosting Cymru.

These emails typically claim that messages have been placed on hold and ask recipients to click a "Release Messages" button.

These emails are NOT from Web Hosting Cymru.

The fraudulent emails often:

For example, one recent phishing email was sent from:

contract4@armnora.com

which is not associated with Web Hosting Cymru.

If you receive one of these emails:

Delete it immediately.
Mark it as phishing or spam in your email client.
If you clicked the link or entered your password, change your password immediately and contact us.

Web Hosting Cymru will never ask you to verify your mailbox or release held emails through unsolicited email links.

If we ever need you to access a service, we will direct you to log in through our official customer portal or contact you directly.

If you are unsure whether an email is genuine, please contact our support team before clicking anything.
